The first frag
Half-Life Deathmatch opened the door to online competition and a whole new community.
Meet the founder
Founder, lifelong gamer, community builder, and the friendly neighborhood loot goblin behind Loot Goblin Gamers.
Where it started
My gaming journey began in March 2000 with Half-Life Deathmatch. I quickly fell in love with the competition, the friendships, and the sense of community that formed around the people behind the gamer tags.
Soon after, I became the leader of GirlzClan, an all-female gaming community that grew across games such as Half-Life, Counter-Strike, Quake III, and Unreal Tournament.
We competed in leagues, attended LAN events, ran our own servers, and created a place where women could find one another, improve their skills, and proudly claim their place in gaming.
GirlzClan became one of the most memorable chapters of my life.

The journey
Half-Life Deathmatch opened the door to online competition and a whole new community.
An all-female clan created to give women a place to compete, connect, and belong.
LAN events and the Cyberathlete Amateur League made Girlz Clan part of early competitive PC gaming.
That same community-first spirit powers every find shared through Loot Goblin Gamers.
Why Loot Goblin Gamers
More than two decades later, that passion inspired Loot Goblin Gamers—a place where I hunt down free games, free-to-play weekends, DLC, demos, limited-time promotions, and gaming deals worth claiming.
Offers can disappear quickly, so I gather the best finds in one place to help gamers spend less time searching and more time playing.
Think of me as your friendly neighborhood loot goblin—digging through the digital treasure piles so you don’t have to. ✨
Whether you have been gaming since the days of LAN parties and dedicated servers or you are just starting your first adventure, you are welcome here.
Loot Goblin Gamers may be a new chapter, but its roots go all the way back to the gaming community I first began building in 1999.
Continue the journey
From discovering Half-Life Deathmatch in March 2000 to founding GirlzClan and creating Loot Goblin Gamers, the journey behind StarLight spans more than two decades of gaming, friendship, competition, and community.
Happy gaming, fellow loot goblins—and may your libraries always be full of treasure! 🎮💎
